Designed by early childhood professionals, Milestones & More Play Kits support parents, caregivers and children to learn and grow together. This Healthy Habits Play Kit was developed in partnership with PBS SoCal, and it is intended to use everyday routines and digital media to support children’s healthy habits and development.

Activity Cards - Positive and supportive play tips give parents and caregivers easy ways to connect with the littles in your life and promote learning experiences that are important to children’s development.
Play Kit Plush - This play kit includes a plush toy that helps children feel comforted and secure. Using the Play Kit Plush is an easy way to give little ones emotional strength to grow and adapt to the world.
Health & Safety Items - The play kit also includes a wooden sandwich toy and printed sandwich cards. Use the sandwich stacking tool to create a sandwich sequencing stacker by matching ingredients to the order of the cards included. This wooden toy helps children recognize colors, shapes, and food in real life. Your kit includes children’s safety scissors, allowing your child to practice their cutting skills on the printable cutouts provided. Using scissors is a valuable activity that enhances both fine motor skills and hand-eye.
Skill Building Toy - Roll into the fun with a set of foam number cubes that build both motor skills and cognitive ability. Use the foam dice to practice stacking or roll the dice to identify different numbers and introduce basic addition and subtraction to playtime.
Bilingual Board Book - Reading is a great way to bond and share time with your little one. Reading a story stimulates children’s imaginations and helps them explore a world of creative thinking. This will help build their love for reading all while having fun!
