What’s inside the Media Mentor Play Kit?
Milestones and More Magazine - Age-targeted child development information, journal prompts, at-home activities, resources, and more.
Activity Cards - Positive and supportive play tips give parents and caregivers easy ways to connect with the littles in your life and promote learning experiences that are important to children’s development.
Play Kit Plush - This plush toy is for your toddler to feel comforted and secure. A “lovey” is more than just a toy or a blanket, it gives your little one emotional strength to grow and adapt. Using the Play Kit Plush as a lovey is an easy way to help them feel a sense of security as they adapt to the world.
Health & Safety Items - Your Play Kit includes a set of Sesame Street toothbrushes. Elmo’s friendly face makes brushing teeth fun for kids learning how to brush their best. Gentle bristles are ideal for growing teeth, and the small head is a great size for small mouths. Toothbrush handle is specially designed for little hands, helping children get a grip on good habits that will last them a lifetime. Your kit also includes a Elmo step chart to support hand washing.
Developmentally Supportive Skill Builders - Your Play Kit also includes a set of measuring cups. Explore and compare measurements or stir up some fun with your colorful measuring cup set. Introduce the concept of measurement while mixing up a mystery science experiment or some fun cooking. Measuring cups support children with their hand eye coordination too all while having fun!
Bilingual Board Book - Reading is a great way for you to bond and share time with the little ones. Reading stories stimulates children’s imagination and is a great way for you to bond and share time together. Look for ways to connect to the story and make story time fun and engaging. Let your little one turn the pages or ask them questions about the story. Try out funny noises and sounds using different voices for different characters. Children often love to read the same book over and over. This may become a bit repetitive for you but your child will enjoy learning the story and predicting what’s next. Make it more fun and go on a scavenger hunt looking for the items in the story. This will help build their love for reading all while having fun!
