Designed by early childhood professionals, Milestones & More Play Kits support parents, caregivers and children to learn and grow together. Each quarterly Play Kit includes developmentally appropriate, fun, educational, and interactive toys, books, and activities.

What’s inside the 6-12 Months Play Kit?

Milestones and More Magazine - Age-targeted child development information, journal prompts, at-home activities, resources, and more.

Activity Cards - Positive and supportive play tips give parents and caregivers easy ways to connect with the littles in your life and promote learning experiences that are important to children’s development.

Play Kit Plush - This plush toy is for baby to feel comforted and secure. A ‘lovey’ is more than just a toy or a blanket, it gives your little one emotional strength to grow and adapt. Using the plush as a lovey is an easy way to help baby feel a sense of security as they adapt to their big, new world.

Developmentally Supportive Skill Builders - This Play Kit includes colorful stacking cups for developmental stacking play, developing hand-eye coordination, and building problem solving skills. They work great for bath time, too, scooping and filling and pouring!

Health & Safety Item - This kit includes soft-tip spoons. These soft-tip spoons are gentle on gums, and the shallow spoon-bowl makes it easy for your little beginner to eat.

Bilingual Board Book - At this age, offer baby short, simple stories with colorful illustrations of familiar objects. Your baby may want to hold the book and explore with all their senses. Board books are perfect for exploring by looking, touching and mouthing them (this is normal behavior). Allow baby to touch, feel, and hold the book. Talk about what they are doing or what is on the page. Research has found that providing babies with consistent, language-rich experiences – such as talking, reading and singing – can have important benefits on their brain development and future school success.
